CFL fundraiser program also teaches about energy

I'm pleased to share about an innovative idea that raises money for various organizations while also educating the public about the importance of energy efficiency. A CFL fundraiser program was developed by Blue Planet Foundation in partnership with Hawaii Energy, the state energy conservation and efficiency program. Groups apply for the program and are provided with some 1,000 CFLs to exchange for old incandescent bulbs. For every incandescent bulb collected, the group earns 40 cents. A recent…See More

Kelli,

Was thinking about you graduating.  Congratulations! MBA how cool is that.  YSH is in the concept and collaboration phase of the island innovation foundation grant process.(www.islandinnovationfoundation.org)  This process is very different.  We had to submit a cncept and now we are in collaboration.  Here we are supposed to look at all the submissions and see if there some that we'd like to collaborate with. YSH is proposing the implementation of a social media strategy to faciliate communications and marketing, but frankly when you read our concept, it is still not solid.  Could you check it and other proposals out and comment.   Merle
